Set your scanner to 25 kHz steps and tune from 450 - 480 MHz.
Sooner or later you'll hit channels which are continuously transmitting
data packets.
As mentioned in my last message there are also links that use data burst
and transmit only periodically. You're likely to find these as well if you
just have a cruise around the band.
