Hi Everyone,

A concerned member has contacted me with regard to my message below.

Please confirm with RSM that any existing "legacy" 27MHz transceivers
you own are ok to use, only new transceivers may comply with the new
standard (which sadly is not specified in the GURL).

Regards,

Neill.

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if everyone is aware or not, but here in NZ you can now use
(since 2nd June) the Au/US style 27MHz (26.965 to 27.405 MHz) 40 Ch CB's
and our original 26MHz (26.330 to 26.770 MHz) 40 Ch ones as well.

PRS (UHF CB in Au) has also just been updated, existing 40 Ch 5 kHz
deviation units are still ok, but new to the market models should be 80
Ch 2.5 kHz deviation ones. The new PRS radios have Ch's 41 to 80 12.5
kHz above Ch's 1 to 40.

Regards,

Neill ZL1TAJ.
