Does anyone know if Civil Defense are going digital NXDN?

A friend of mine had Civil Defense come up on NXDN and they were doing some
testing. Unfortunately it wasn't legal at the time as it was not registered
with RSM and has gone quiet since.

Haven't found any trace of NXDN in South Canterbury yet.

To be honest I haven't even heard the CD analog in use before.
