Hi Kevin,

BNC Plugs are available for RG6, but they aren't cheap.

Advantages of the F connector adaptor is you can re-use it and only 
replace a cheap F connector rather than throwing away lotsa $$$ on a 
Crimp RG6 BNC Connector each time.
