Mike,
This begs the question.
Under the old system (Radio Frequency Service), transcievers using our 26MHz service had to have a RFS23 sticker on them to be compliant with that regime.
It was a Type Approval thing.
What is going to happen here with the 27MHz stuff, is this just going to be a "come one, come all" thing with no real monitoring of what is being used in this country?
Although I wouldn't, what is actually stopping me from using my TS-440 on 27MHz, although under the power limits given the allocation?
Bear in mind, I'd never breach the RR like that, it is an item for discussion.
