Hi Mike + others!

An updated list of what can be heard where and what area the transmissions come from on what frequencies would be good. I am discovering loads of Ambo freqs that aren't listed.

The radio wiki is missing some stuff!

Oliver

Timaru 2 (75.6000) was still booming in on Tuesday while on my way up and down the island. What gives you the impression it's not now?

  Hi there folks,
I hope the festive season is treating you well.

Normally Timaru, Washdyke, Temuka, St Andrews and a few other brigades in the South Canterbury area use 75.600MHz as a dispatch and comms frequency.
I noticed yesterday that this frequency is no longer used, does anyone know what frequency they may have changed to?

Also, Mid Canterbury Fire (shared) 75.3500, at the moment is open with some dispatcher on there making random comments as well as giving QVR's to highway patrol units and sending 10-1's
to units as far down as Dunners.
It sounds like she is on a cell-phone as the carrier never stops, this could be duplex comms but you don't actually hear all of the other side of the communications.

In case you're wondering if my aerial is OK, all the ChCh and Nth Canterbury stuff is coming in as clear as a bell.

  Your thoughts?

  Cheers and thanks,
  Mike T.
