You can't "play with the SKY system" it is too carefully encrypted. But you
could buy satellite RX and use your SKY dish to receive Freeview and other
channels plus with another dish or a dish rotator pickup the other Optus
satellites C1, D2.

oh yea I do things that always come back and bite me

got a hard drive with movies on it and brought a thing that lets us watch
them thru the TV, so I tried to adjust it, nothing wrong with it to start
with, but I decided to try and play with it, hasn't worked in months, son
comes in presses reset button and its fine( why do they hide reset buttons?)

So what do I need to play with the sky system?? I'm up for it
