  The thing is with it Bob, for about $200.00. you can get a satellite 
set top box and a motor for your dish, you will then be well under way 
at the beginners end of the hobby. I am still learning, and I have a 
4.2mtr solid dish, a 3mtr mesh dish, a couple of 1mtr dishes and a 65cm 
typical type of sky dish. I run 3 different stb's. as my preference.
