<div dir="ltr">i do beleave that AOS have the option to be p25 simplex encrypted even in analog regions but when they initly get called out they are normally on the main coms ch so they can talk with other units at lest they do in hb during the initall phaze
if extended duration they set up analog simplex or if the main coms ch is busy with other dispatching ( based of what i have seen here in hb it may be difrent in other analog regions unsure )

<p>That is correct - all police districts except the three Auckland districts, Wellington and Canterbury are still analogue.</p>
<p>That will all change, however, by the end of 2023.</p>
