</head><body><div class="io-ox-signature"><p>Hello all,</p><p>Just to confirm the callsigns you were hearing on the Dunedin channels when they were linked to the Canterbury Rural analogue channels last week were AvSec 3 and AvSec4 - Aviation Security Service playing at being police because they have little to do at the airports.</p><p>As regards the digital district vehicles going in to an analogue district I think you will find most vehicles are fitted with analogue radios as well as digital and there is a switch on the console to go between them. If you look at the vehicles in a digital district most have stubby (digital) aerials and a longer analogue VHF aerial and similarly some vehicles in analogue districts also have digital aerials.</p><p>Cheers.</p><p>Grunter1.</p><p><br></p></div></body></html>
