The SDR receiving is fine... The rebroadcasting to the Internet,without permission, is the illegal part. It's down to interpretation a little - if you're rebroadcasting to just yourself over the Internet via a password protected audio stream is still illegal - but if noone knows.. Still, if you get caught then you have to take it on the chin. <br>

Timaru 1 is not used by Fire.<br>
Timaru 2 is a Fire exclusive channel for the surrounding area. Outside of<br>
this coverage, the Temuka and Waimate groups takes over.<br>
