Taxi company B has a scanner/phone streaming taxi company As voice channel hears this and goes to the address to try beat the other company to the fare. <br><br>Going digital stopped this until Uniden came out with DMR capability. Now a lot of people are choosing to go encrypted as well. Remember when doing a MOTOTRBO codeplug, for example, adding encryption adds about 10 seconds to my job when setting up a master codeplug. <br><br>I think that not allowing rebroadcasting is actually a good thing, sure it inconveniences our hobby, but the people who have the license to these channels don't care - we aren't the intended recipient. <br>Richard<hr>Sent from a mobile device.
