With the handset in place turn the crank handle, put your meter onto AC around 100volts range, if turned quickly you should get 50volts plus. </span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1430382702052_17184"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1430382702052_17183">These 2 wires are your line between the 2 phones. the other 2 wires are for your battery, polarity doesn't matter.</span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1430382702052_18512" dir="ltr"><span id="yui_3_16_0_1_1430382702052_18511">If the cord is missing grt back to me and I will dig out my old plan books and give you the terminal numbers. It has a braided handset cord instead of the more usual plaited cord. This one was probably used for point-to-point working on the railway.
