control channel so the tones can only be sent while no voice
traffic on the call group. I think all the police techs do is
ensure the network is running while fire have to sort out how to
make the network do what they require it to do. Kordia are only
comms contractors to Fire in that region.<br>

experiencing problems with the ‘Tones’ side of things on the
new Digital ESB network today. I note that a ‘Kordia’ Techo is
presently working on the problem. Evidently the ‘old analog’
75/76mHz system is working OK. Does anyone know what the
‘demarcation’ point is? i.e. what do the Police IT techs.
have responsibility for, and what does the Govt. SOE (Kordia)
have?<o:p></o:p></p>
