<div class="h5">Hi Chris,<br>
<br>
Australia & New Zealand share a standard for PRS (UHF
CB over there).<br>
<br>
Australia was going to adopt 80 channels with 12.5 kHz
steps,<br>
subsequently we will likely follow suit, I'm not aware of
it happening<br>
yet though. The advantage is double the channels in the
same amount of<br>
spectrum, this is happening world wide, abolishing the old
25 kHz spaced<br>
channels.<br>
<br>
The standard is AS/NZS 4365 and I see there is a 2011
amendment. Not<br>
sure if the link below will work, but it might...<br>

<br>
Obviously that document is incomplete, but it makes it
clear that the<br>
Australian change is being adopted here as I expected.<br>
<br>
"This edition incorporates revisions providing test
methods and<br>
performance limits to facilitate 12.5 kHz channel
operation in alignment<br>
with the Australian Communications and Media Authority
(ACMA) 400 MHz<br>
band restructure and associated changes being made by the
Ministry of<br>
Economic Development (MED) in New Zealand."<br>

Contact RSM on 0508 RSM INFO (0508 776463) to find out the
actual situation.<br>
<br>
