actual cop cars for stages anymore because I fink it was a targa one year a cop
having too much fun in a stage had a slight woops and did some damage to the
car off the track, most of the “police safety cars” as they are generally
known as these days are a rental car or organiser supplied car with a siren and
a red and blue light bar strapped to the roof<o:p></o:p></span></p>

appearing to be having fun at the rally.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

color:blue'>A Police vehicle travelled rather quickly through one of the Rally
Wairarapa stages I was radio point for and he appeared to be having a great
time sliding around in the gravel. I later found out a local farmer was
not happy about the road closure and threatened to park a tractor within
the stage.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

color:blue'>Don't know if the farmer was serious but there was no problem and
that stage started just a few minutes late.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

color:blue'>Much of the time we don't realy know the full story about police
incidents (even if we were listening) and with digital comms we are about

the rally of whangarei and they have a policeman run thru the rally
stages b4 the cars , and has to deal with members of the public etc and he
