the NZ Police Statement of Intent 2009/10 - 2011/12 released last week states
that "We will deliver a secure digital radio network to the Wellington District
by 30 June 2009") could those in Wellington monitoring this please give the rest
of us the relevant frequencies.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>If you have a digital scanner the transmissions
will be heard as "gurgling"-like noises at the start followed by relative
silence. Even if you have an analogue scanner the radio traffic can be "heard"
as a constant hissing (white- noise) sound. Either way you should be able to
determine the frequencies in both the ESB and ESC bands.</FONT></DIV>
