'Discone' (from the disc on top and the 'cone' created by the radials)
antennae are broadband and most work in the region of 25 - 1000 MHz. They
are a unity gain antenna.
Not sure where you got the measurement of 22.5 metres from. At one
wavelength that's around 13.5 MHz which isn't the band you want to listen
to?
In any event if you are cutting a rod to that length it must be some rod
and I don't know how you would support it.
