Hi Mike,

Has the scanner you plugged into got a discriminator tap? If not, you 
can adjust in the input to PDW by going

to the Interface menu, selecting Setup and going to the Sound Card,  
Configuration menu.

They are lots of settings there, one of those should produce better results.
