Hi Richard,
Not sure if your scanner does VHF Low,
The frequencies are:
South Canterbury 1: 75.600 MHz (Timaru Exclusive)
Fire South Dispatch: 75.7125 MHz (All of East coast down to the Waitaki 
River, and Christchurch Metro)
Fire Mid Canterbury: 75.450 MHz (Everything else in between)
Bear in mind, we don't use UHF here in Mid or South Canterbury as a 
rule, it is still VHF low.
