[TheList] illusive Canterbury 421.3125

Can someone confirm if this frequency carries the same traffic as 420.0375 or if it’s only active when the Mid/South Canty brigades are at incidents.

Trying to determine if this is Fire only or part of the old analogue shared channels now predominantly used by Fire.

Regards

Brendan

Drove Chch to Timaru and back today and nothing heard on VHF between Rakaia and Rangitata as usual. 421 wasn’t heard either.

Out at Rolleston again with an ear on.

Certainly picking up here on a handheld/ducky while 420.0375 is rather deaf.

(And on the classic uniden 92xlt, UHF seems more sensitive than VHF so glad they're available)

So perhaps the latter is more a central/north chc city coverage while 421 picks up halswall-south

Now need to confirm the closer to ashburton coverage claim from the person who added.
