[TheList] MPT1327 and TIER 3 DMR

My understanding is they're basically the same system, so I'd be surprised if they sound different.   I know they aren't interchangeable (Ie you can't interfleet between Fleetlink and ActionNet.

I believe one is a proper MPT1327 system, the other is a slightly modified version of the protocol that was ex Post Office before being acquired by TeamTalk.   Could be wrong, but I seem to recall that was the answer when I asked.

For peoples interest, it appears there was some issues with MotoTRBOs being on the network (TT now Vital went with Tait) and some features won't work... Last I heard is they'd flat out said no trbo being on the network, but given they've directly sold 4000 series radios to some of their customers before they lost their dealer status, they're probably going to have to relax on that rule.
