[TheList] Lightning arrestors?

Hey thanks guys for your thoughts on lightning arrestors.

Once the power board took down all the HV lines and poles around my 
place and then I was up on my roof a couple of weeks ago, I realised my 
aerial mast was the highest thing in quite a large area, I'm nowhere 
near a church either, where the steeple would have a spire and a 
lightning rod.

I'm about getting 4 arrestors for all of my scanning and Ham gear.
