No, I appreciate there would be no legal implications if they found you
carrying a scanner onboard, I was just thinking more about the human rights
aspects of it.
I wouldn't be traveling with a scanner anyway.
I'd take my hand-held VHF radio (which transmits and receives) and has the
ability to be programmed from the keypad.
"Sorry ma'am this isn't a scanner, it's my work radio". End of story.
