[TheList] Digest users - please trim your quotes

Hi Digest users,
If you're sub'd to a digest you get a large number of emails, likely
unrelated, all in one dump. The subject line you get is related to the
digest - not to the subject, which means those of us who don't use digests,
can get confused rapidly.

Rather than suggesting that the use of digest mode is mainly for
readers-not-posters (one perspective), my compromise suggestion is simply
that you limit your quoted materials to those that're relevant. Delete the
rest of the baggage, so that other readers aren't scrolling past many pages
of noise to find the rest of the conversation?

Mailing lists are old school, as is mailing list etiquette. Just a personal
request, however.

Mark.
