Hi,
I believe the airport is mostly DMR now although I still hear a few calls on the old Motorola network occasionally

Tait must have change do their network. It's seems like it's just used for testing purposes and used to be in the clear however based on what others have said it seems it's now encrypted.

Plenty of DMR in Canterbury on VHF and UHF and 800. There are at least 2 Teir 3 DMR networks in CHCH and also a large tier 2 motorola system covering north of CHCH south to Ashburton. Orion Digital System frequencies have been submitted and are live on Radio Reference for those interested.

Hi,
Found plenty of P25 in CHCH but it all seems encrypted. There are the obvious VHF and UHF for the Govt. Radio network. I also have found a couple of others in the VHF band but all encrypted as well. Apparantly this is Tait’s network. That’s it!! There is DMR UHF in a couple of places but no more.
