Another thing I'd suggest, for those considering, is get the addons 
BEFORE it gets shipped over.  People like ScannerMaster should be able 
to help of course, but I doubt you'll get any help from Uniden NZ with 
this model, it's an American model.  Same could be said for the SDS100 
model - we may never see it here officially.

Another thing is I don't know how many people use NXDN, we certainly 
don't have any customers using it.   DMR would definitely be a worthy 
upgrade.  Out of the box P25 1 and 2 is nice depending how much is in 
the clear, the rest is so-so.  Corrections for example use Motorola LTR, 
however all prisons are slowly going to be migrating to Digital over the 
next 5 or 10 years.  Tongariro, one or two Auckland ones, CHCH Womans 
have already cutover, CHCH Mens is slated for June go-live (the systems 
in but there are some issues they're working through with the indoor 
location beacons)

Shane - 75.55 is Waikato North, Radiowiki should be fairly up to date, 
but it's been awhile since I've been up coromandel to check - it's 
listed as Waihi and Tokatea/Coromandel.  What scanner is that? Can you 
program in timeslots?  I've never programmed a digital capable scanner - 
I carry my Icom R5 but I use proper RTs at work anyway so the R5 only 
gets used for CSQ receiving -  listening for local interference in 
vehicles (Harvesters) and buildings (Fonterra and all of the VSDs they 
have are causing issues on digital channels if the RT is set to Channel 
Free admit criteria)
