[TheList] new Fire portable frequencies

Could you by chance remember the model number?

I saw in RSM database that
Auckland/Dunedin/Rotorua/Selwyn/Tauranga/Wellington had a group of 16 F
band simplex channels that were analog only and looked to have been
licenced mid 2016.

I ask because as far as I knew Ambo are using P25 Taits up in the 500
band in some areas and there was mention in the news article about fire
being able to communicate with other EMS.

Perhaps radio model doesn't really matter if they are sticking to analog
channels, but with a lot of stuff moving in the digital direction I kind
of assumed the new fire channels would be in line with that.
