Someone asked about VHF Fire Service frequencies in Auckland a while back
and I mentioned that most of their traffic seemed to be on UHF.
I have since discovered they are still using VHF channels.
75.675 and 76.375 are two that I have heard callouts on.

Are these linked to the Auckland UHF fire channels too or just the
Northland Fire channel?

Cheers

Anyone got one of the antennas from the uniden type scanner that goes
across a vehicles windscreen?
I think I binned mine with the box

That was me :) I've since discovered on a trip up to Sanitorium Hill
that the channels on the wiki are fully working and are crosslinked with
the F band frequencies and also linked to Northland Fire :)

Cheers,
