Form normal use you need to set it at 7 or 8 on squelch.

The machine is so good at reception it will pick up all noise.

Heya, finally back from holiday with my new toy, Ive managed to tune it etc but im getting a lot of static across the channels I have set the squelch to 2 and still really bad my older scanner is a lot more clearer than my new one, any ideas on how to fix this please
