"Go Bus" Wellington and "Valley Flyer" in the process of changing to new
Digital (Voice and Data GPS etc.).
Their old DN3 Ch. Analogue on Tinakori Hill (TeamTalk) is being phased out.
No more 'smarties' transmitting the 'theme tune' from "On The Buses" for
much longer!

Hi,

Does anyone know if Pacific Aerials sell direct to the public or have had
any dealings with them. Many years ago i was given a boot lip mounted 75mhz
whip antenna which I stupidly left on the vehicle when i sold it. Would love
to get another as it was fantastic.

Cheers,

Chris021.

Scan through 858.00 to 864.00 MHz, if you find channels with data on them
(control channels) there is a chance you will be able to work the trunking
side of your BCT 8

I know there is a Team talk Edacs system that runs the top half of the North
Island so it's quite possible you will have a leg of that system depending
on your distance from their site.

Down side if it's Edacs you will have to work out the system voice channels
from first principles. Motorola's systems carry the voice channel
information in the control channel data and your

receiver will track it fully once being told it's a moto system.

Happy listening

Shane.
