Well I am open to bribery and sexual favours from good looking female
redheads aged between 21 and 25 :P

Yeah nice idea. Or if the 'newbie' wants to get fast-tracked and jump the
red tape, they could always get brown noses by doing the proverbial
arse-lick and sweet-talk manoeuvre to get their way in quicker =))))

Let's face it, moderators are only human and can be vulnerable to flattery,
bribery, extortion, sexual favours, you name it. . . Nothing worse than a
corrupted / compromised moderator LOL. Full security, criminal &
psychological background checks for all would-be moderators - they need to
prove themselves fit for purpose too!

Just saying ;)

maybe have a team of moderators like 1 or 2 from each region and all new
folk get moderated until they prove themselves worthy using a member login

Hi All,

At some point over this wet weekend i will be rebuilding radiowiki to get
rid of the spam. This time i am going to take everyones advise and make
joining require manual activation. If anyone has any ideas how we are best
to do this please let me know :) I was thinking potentially another mailing
list where new members join, introduce themselves get set up on the wiki,
then leave unless they want all the dross traffic from new people joining
but totally open to ideas :)

Cheers,
