Hi Ron
I do have the same set up here in Hamilton about 15 Km to to Raglan side of
town.
I have a 9000 XT in the garage and a Uniden small scanner in the bed room ,I
have use a Tee BNC to connect a LONG UHF boat Arial and the Dicone to feed
both radios
I have find that sometimes the 75 MHZ range is better with the Boat radio
than the Dicone and some radio frequencies will work better with both.
I can hear up to Whanganui police en Fire up to Kaitai The long boot Arial
is a 2.1 meter on to of the garage .Both aerials I have feed into a old TV
amp that is now not need any more now we are on digital.

Regards
