NZ Bus are changing over to digital early next year. Will be interesting
to see if our reception improves from what it is like now. New radios
going in their fleets in Auckland, Wellington and the Hutt Valley.

I notice in South Canterbury that 5 channels that i had programmed have
the digital
noise on them now. Not counting the Police.

McCain foods was the first one to do so.

Going to become a lot more common I'm afraid.

that's why i brought a Uniden UBCD396XT

Would this be likely to be encrypted? Further to that are most of the
businesses that have already made the switch encrypted? I'm wondering if a
digital scanner is worth it in the long run.

Hey guys,

Does anyone have an updated list of Wairarapa NZFS repeater freq's please?
Rural Fire Riversdale Beach 5971 etc used to use police shared channel. But
no longer do that I know of.
I have 75.5875 and 75.475 only listed. Are there any other freq's in use?
Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Andre

It's also a case of what this person asked was a specific question, the
channel concerned basically never transmits. Trying to find it when it may
be of interest wouldn't be the easiest job. I had no problem helping him
answer that question as i hope anyone else would for me.
