[TheList] 'Garmin' Dog Tracking Devices

Some interesting info. for those of you that maybe into 'pig hunting' and
using any of these Garmin products: Astro 220, 320 system/DC20,30 & 40
collars - plus SportDog TEK. These devices operate on the following freqs.
151.820, .880,.940 and 154.570 and 154.600. These freqs. Are all within the
NZ 'E Band'. These freqs. are evidently OK for the North American countries
where they are being imported (or brought in to NZ by travelers) visiting
these places.

RSM-MED are working in conjunction with NZ Customs at all NZ Intl. Airports/
Auckland Intl. Mail Centre. 'Trademe' has also been made aware that these
have now been 'Gazetted' as prohibited items. For any further info. - refer
to NZ Gazette, 23/2/2012, No.20,p 474.
