i currently have a Yupiteru MVT7100 and a Yupiteru MVT9000 M3.5 by Bandercom.

They have done me proud since i used my Telecom 1996 redundancy pay-out to buy the 7100.

I looked at that and found the USA ones ( PSR 500 or Pro 106 handhelds do not do cell 860----890 bands

or around the 75 MHz analogue frequency. Stops at 54 MHz to 108 MHZ.

Both these above models have exactly the same specs in the desktop versions by using Google to search.

Left out Home Patrol as no internet programmable info is applicable to nz.

Aussie and NZ ones are ones are open to all coverage and are made for the Australasian market.

Uniden NZ want an exorbitant and unrealistic $1200 for a last years generations model combo scanner

and remote head, look at the combo price on www.ebay.com.au for

Aussie $449.00 Item number: 160836361044see the link to the right. copied here in auction item number : 160836361044

No www.ebay.com.au auction lister would send to me in NZ, after numerous emails on the subject.

Got my kin over there to buy the Uniden UBCD396XT and remote head combo and resend on to me.

Selling one of my scanners, the Yupiteru MVT7100 with 970 frequencies added.

Would be ideal for Oamaru and South, West coast and Nelson/ Blenheim as they are all analogue.

It has all the analogue emergency services for all the South Island and heaps more for all of the SI

programmed in as well. Years of noting search data while on holiday has gone into this, the 9000

on scan and the 7100 on search mode using two band spanner car scanner aerials from DSE.

Has charger, leather case, metal old aerial, paper printout and excel spread sheet of programming data on CD.

Scanner price as reasonable, but data base is worth a premium price for the whole sale.

PS Metal handheld aerial from Uncle George on www.tradme.co.nz auction number Listing #: 497665553 today

are the best in NZ, every scanner guy should buy one and i have got 3 of them. FAR Far superior to everything

i have used so far.
