NZFS Digital Changeover in Wgton. Area. From a reliable source approx. one
third of the Wgton. fleet (Wn./Hutt/Porirua) has got the new radios fitted
(with the old 75/76mHz T2000 left in place). Should be fairly easy to
recognize those appliances with the new radios sprouting a 17-19ins. Whip,
as well as the 37.5ins. whip for 75mHz. All Police radio equipt. now removed
from Mt.Vic. (due to serious inter-mod problems) and relocated to Mt.Albert.
