[TheList] Any here run a NZ site for digital scanners like of the Uniden ubcd396xt that arrived today.

got a special Uniden promo package deal for scanner and the remote head unit as my 
birthday present from my wife.

not many left on www.ebay.com.au  -----they would not send to her but a relative brought it
and resent it on to us.

Look at the aussie price for the combo and note the Uniden NZ  quoted price for the older 
last years version is $1200.00 on the NZ Uniden website.

now i have to learn to use it and find what is on those annoying channels with  digital data
on them all the time.

What is the frequency the police are using for the control data channel, is it different for each region.

PS (Yes i know the nitty gritty you are about to say next)
