Hi Andy.
Think SAR use that channel.
Perhaps a cross country sports event like this sounds would be ideal as a
safety and comms training exercise.

Cheers,

Rick.

Subject: [TheList] Unid traffic on chan ESB59

Traffic on 141.7375 MHz (ESB59) with a CTCSS of 141.3 Hz during Friday
20th. Sounds like some form of sports results net.

Ident includes 'Hunua Base" and reference to team numbers and stage in and
out times. Also ref to a mountain bike stage.

At least one other chan in use but freq not identified. (user asked to go
to channel 2)

Anyone any idea who this would be? SMART database shows no licensee for this
channel. Bit unusual to have a sports event on an ESB channel.

Cheers

Andy
