[TheList] re Fire changes greater Wgton. area

Quite a lot of Appliances having 'something done' at Tait in Petone over the
last couple of weeks, possibly a new 'MSU'. Also quite a lot of
'un-modulated' carrier transmissions (just hiss?)noticed on the channel,
which could be related. No doubt someone will  know sooner or later. The
NZFS don't seem to be in any hurry to commit  themselves to the Police
shared services APCO P25 system, likewise neither has NZ Customs, or
Fisheries - wonder why?
