Way back aiduno 15 years ago Noel Jones ran the KiwiScannerHomepage http://biogasmarlborough.ath.cx/hamradio/generalradio/homepages.ihug.co.nz/~njones/ which after some time was taken (handed) over by Rob (Zero Alpha) with NZ Scanners which lead to RadioWiki when Rob "disappeared".

There are a fair few names that have been around all that time (and well before no doubt.) It has been quite a journey, with a few legends (FhoneMan Fraser McGaughran and Lou Lovegrove spring to mind) sadly lost along the way.
