Central Fire Comms took over from Southern Fire Comms an hour or so after the quake and will have dispatch for some time.

North Comms have police.

    Heard central comms in wellington getting comms from willowbank
    truck at an accident in seacliff just north of dunedin. Not sure
    what is happening but wondering if Southern comms may have been down
    at the time.

    I also notice that ICAD southern has not been updated since 14.52
    this afternoon.
