Yes we are still doing the system.
Regarding the decoder:
There is both a hardware and software component to the decoder system.
The Seldec-4 is the hardware component that converts the audio signal into the decoded selcall. This connects to a serial port on the computer. (You may use a USB to Serial Converter if you have no serial ports) Selcall+ is the software that does the computer display and translation etc.
If the computer will run XP then SelcallPro will work on it. (Well we haven't found one it won't work on yet!) (Win7 etc is fine too.)

Currently we have 1 of the NON-LCD and 1 x LCD models in stock. Please allow 3 to 5 days forshipping from confirmation / payment etc. 

Decoder requires unmuted audio source from scanner / receiver / rt etc....not discriminator. 

Software will work with WinXP / Vista / Win7 and also supports USB to serial converters. (The DSE USB to Serial adapter works well.... if in doubt look for one that uses the FTDI chip)

The LCD model shows the decoded but not translated selcall on it's display.
eg: Sockburn 257 going K4 would show CB391F1400C on the display not SOCK257 K4 as the computer running the Selcall+ software would translate it to. Full logging is provided.
The software (Therefore you need a computer to be running the software) also allows actions to be done on receipt of a selcall or wildcard selcall enabling wav files to be played, such as a siren sound or other program to be executed.
You can also run X10 modules from the actions file with the appropriate x10 hardware / software (Available on TradeMe - ask if you cannot find it and you are interested)

Current costings are:
Non-LCD Decoder = $450.00
LCD Decoder = $525.00

Includes Seldec-4 Decoder, Selcall+ Software, Power Supply, Manual, Serial Cable, and Audio Cable and courier within New Zealand.

Payment may be made by cheque or bank transfer.
