Subject: Re: [TheList] Encripted digital radios for wellington

There was a theoretical discussion on how long it would take to crack
then encryption algorithm being used.

The consultant came up with a figure of Ten's of Thousands of years!

The radio's have stun facility. If it is missing in action they can stun it.

Pretty intelligent radios those things.

They can be set up to do all sorts of neat things.

Oh, the mobiles presently on ESA (75-77 MHz) will be replaced with ESB
(136-144 MHz). Portables presently on F (485-490 MHz) will be replaced
with ESC (495-510 MHz).

No point in knowing that though, as you won't be able to listen.

Regards,

Neill.
